To ensure continuous planning, the referral letter must contain the following:
- Name and address of patient
- Reason for the referral, explained clearly
- Relevant anamnesis
- Results of any examinations done
If desired, you can give the referral letter to the patient or send it digitally. Urgent referrals are always done in telephone consultations with the urologist or the appointed assistant.
